What is Marin Power?
Marin Power is exploring a simple question: Can resources that already exist in our community be connected to provide useful temporary pumping capacity when severe storms and power outages occur together?
The idea is straightforward: EV → Power → Pump → Water Out
Creating Marin Power requires more than connecting a vehicle to a pump. It requires understanding the problem, selecting appropriate locations and equipment, qualifying vehicles, training volunteers, establishing safe operating boundaries and testing the entire system before people depend on it.
We’re starting small and learning as we go.
